The Institute of Cognitive Intelligence has a total of 9 members, including 5 doctoral and postgraduate students, led by Liu Xingli, a distinguished professor from Heilongjiang Province. Two members of the team have won the third prize in the provincial teaching competition, 5 have won the first prize in the school-level competition, and 6 provincial teaching research projects have been completed. Nine textbooks have been published, and over 30 SCI and other research papers have been published. The team has guided students to win 4 national awards and 16 provincial awards in entrepreneurship and innovation competitions, and has completed 1 national research project and 2 provincial research projects.
The Institute of Cognitive Intelligence keeps a close eye on the cutting-edge technologies of artificial intelligence and actively engages in interdisciplinary cooperation with aviation and aerospace universities and research institutes, as well as the Shandong Research Center for Cyberspace, to provide scientific and technological services. A total of 8 science and technology service projects have been successfully implemented, with over 2 million yuan in research funding received. The institute has also established research platforms such as the "Joint Laboratory for Data Analysis and Knowledge Innovation Services" with Tongfang Zhinei (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., the "Joint Laboratory for Domain Knowledge Graph" with Anteng Technology, and the "Automated Development Laboratory for AI Projects" with Nanjing Keki. Five provincial research and development project awards have been nurtured.
The road is long, but if one keeps walking, one will eventually reach one is destination. The task is difficult, but it must be accomplished. In the future, the Institute will continue to focus on the needs of coal mine safety and national security situational awareness, and leverage its interdisciplinary features in large mining and large safety to enhance its research and scientific capabilities, as well as its level of technology and service. The Institute will contribute its wisdom and strength to the construction of a distinctive applied university in the mining industry and the comprehensive and all-around revitalization of Heilongjiang Province.
